Orlando, FL – The World Cup may be over, but South Florida’s sports calendar is barely slowing down. In August, the Miami Dolphins begin their preseason schedule, followed by the return of college football and another season of major sporting events across the region.

For companies selling products tied to fitness, recovery and performance, that means more than packed stadiums—it means increased demand.

Behind every bottle on a store shelf is an operation responsible for sourcing ingredients, coordinating production, maintaining quality standards and making sure products reach consumers on time.

That less-visible side of the business is where Brazilian executive Vanildo Farias de Carvalho has become an important figure at Gade Nutrition, a dietary supplement company expanding its presence in the United States.

While consumers may recognize Gade through products such as its Ashwagandha blend—which combines ashwagandha, maca root, horny goat weed, turkesterone, tribulus and ginseng—the company’s recent growth has depended on much more than marketing. Gade has reported annual sales exceeding $10 million and has outlined plans for continued expansion in the U.S. market.

Company officials say that expansion includes strengthening manufacturing operations and investing in long-term production capabilities. Rather than relying exclusively on outside manufacturers, Gade has been working toward building a more integrated operation as demand for its products continues to grow.

Vanildo has been involved in that effort, helping coordinate manufacturing strategy, supplier relationships and production planning as the company prepares for its next phase of growth.

Industry observers say this reflects a broader trend within the nutraceutical sector. As consumers become more selective about ingredient quality and product consistency, supplement companies are placing greater emphasis on manufacturing, traceability and operational control—not just branding.

Gade’s product materials reflect that shift, highlighting third-party testing, ingredient quality and manufacturing standards for products such as its flagship Ashwagandha formula.

As another busy sports season gets underway, companies supplying the wellness and performance market are preparing for increased demand. For Gade Nutrition, much of that preparation is happening behind the scenes, where executives like Vanildo Farias are helping build the operational foundation needed to support the company’s continued expansion in the United States.
