Alexander Gibson Builds New Momentum in Hollywood with Upcoming Feature Splash City
Actor, recording artist, and advocate continues turning life’s challenges into a growing career across film, television, music, and digital media.

Southern California actor Alexander Gibson continues to build momentum in Hollywood with an expanding list of film and television credits, including his upcoming role in the feature film Splash City from Berner and 4Ways Entertainment.

Born in Bellflower, raised in Long Beach, and now based in Lakewood, California, Gibson has built a career defined by perseverance, authenticity, and purpose. His path into entertainment began after serving time as a teenager, when he met producer and criminal justice reform advocate Scott Budnick through InsideOUT Writers. That introduction sparked an interest in the entertainment industry that would ultimately change the course of his life.

After returning home in 2018, Gibson became involved with the Anti-Recidivism Coalition and ManifestWorks, where he trained for careers in film and television production before transitioning into acting. A chance connection with manager Berenice Molina led to his first television role on CBS’s S.W.A.T., opening the door to a growing career on screen.

Since then, Gibson has built an impressive résumé with appearances in American Gigolo, This Fool, The Curse, and Die Like a Man, while also achieving his longtime goal of becoming a SAG-AFTRA actor.

One of Gibson’s first major feature-film roles came in Horchata With Oat Milk, where he portrayed Vago, marking the first time he carried significant scripted dialogue in a feature film.

“It was a massive deal to me because it was the first time I actually had lines,” Gibson said. “It was definitely one of my favorite projects to date.”

Now Gibson is preparing for the release of Splash City, where he portrays Mar, a member of the Bippin Crew. The role carries personal meaning, allowing him to draw from experiences that shaped his early life.

“I was able to bring a lot of my younger self to this character,” Gibson said. “He’s a young man trying to find his next break, his next meal, his next outfit, or a pair of shoes using the only ways he has ever known.”

Beyond acting, Gibson continues expanding his creative career through music. Alongside Randy “Lyriks” Coronado and Mario “Mars Era” Herrera, he released the collaborative album Big Steppers and is currently developing his first full-length solo project.

Gibson has also built a social media audience of more than 260,000 followers, creating comedy content inspired by his life experiences while using humor to promote healing, resilience, and hope. His work has earned recognition from his local community multiple times, and he continues developing new film, television, stage, and digital media projects.

“I feel it’s my duty and my obligation to live as full of a life as I can,” Gibson said. “If my story helps even one person believe they can change their future, then everything I’ve gone through has been worth it.”

As his career continues to grow, Alexander Gibson remains committed to telling authentic stories that entertain audiences while demonstrating the power of perseverance, second chances, and personal transformation.
