Yesterday, Xiamen Newclears’ newly introduced high speed baby pull-up pants production line was officially installed at its Quanzhou factory. This intelligent line, featuring ultrasonic welding and full-eco vision inspection, marks a new milestone in Newclears’ production capacity and technological capabilities.
What does 800 PPM mean?
800 PPM means producing 800 pull-up pants per minute. Based on an overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of 85%, a single line can produce up to 300 million units per year — enough to support the core supply of a medium-sized diaper brand.
Even more noteworthy are the supporting technologies:
Ultrasonic welding: uses high-frequency vibrations instead of traditional heat pressing, resulting in flatter seams and a softer touch, especially ideal for premium ultra-thin products.
Full-eco vision inspection: full-process visual monitoring that identifies defects in real time, shifting quality control from “post-production inspection” to “in-process prevention.”
The line has also been optimized for super-soft, through-air bonded nonwovens, clearly targeting the mid-to-high end of the baby pull-up pants market.
Industry signal: barriers to entry are rising
