– Standards: ASTM C1277, ASTM A888

Recommended Tightening Torque

Bolt Torque

DN50 5–6 N·m

DN75 6–8 N·m

DN100 8–10 N·m

DN150 10–12 N·m

DN200 12–14 N·m

– Tighten crosswise, step by step

– Do not over-tighten to avoid gasket damage

Alignment Tolerance

– Axial gap ：≤ 3 mm

– Radial offset ：≤ 0.3% of pipe diameter

– Angular misalignment ：≤ 1°

– Deflection compensation ：≤ 3°

1. Installation Steps
2. Clean pipe ends, remove burrs & rust
3. Slide rubber sleeve onto one pipe
4. Butt pipes and keep concentric
5. Position gasket at center of joint
6. Install stainless steel clamp
7. Tighten bolts crosswise to rated torque

Final Inspection

– Gasket evenly compressed, no extrusion

– No visible gap between clamp and gasket

– Pipes aligned, no obvious deflection

– No leakage in water / pressure test

– No abnormal noise when running
