StudioGrowth, a yoga studio management software company trusted by hundreds of boutique studios worldwide, today announced a new suite of features purpose-built for yoga retreats and teacher training. The launch gives independent yoga studios the ability to promote, sell, and manage retreats and teacher training programs directly within the same platform they use for daily class scheduling, billing, and member management.
Retreats and teacher training programs are among the highest-revenue offerings available to yoga studios, with teacher training programs typically priced between $2,500 and $5,000 per participant and achieving profit margins of 70-80%. Yet most studio owners still manage these programs using a patchwork of separate tools: third-party retreat marketplaces for visibility, external payment processors for deposits and installments, and standalone website builders for promotional landing pages. StudioGrowth’s new features bring all of this under one roof.
“Yoga studio owners tell us the same thing over and over: managing retreats and teacher training is where things fall apart,” said Nazish Ahmed, Founder of StudioGrowth. “Their day-to-day classes run smoothly in our system, but the moment they launch a retreat or a 200-hour training program, they’re back to juggling spreadsheets, separate payment links, and disconnected tools. We built this to close that gap.”
What the New Features Include
The retreat and teacher training suite includes branded landing pages that studios can customize and share to promote their offerings. Prospective participants can view program details, check availability, and register directly from these pages.
Payment flexibility is built in from the start. Studios can collect deposits upfront and set up installment payment plans for the remaining balance, or accept full payment at the time of booking. All payments are processed through StudioGrowth’s existing Stripe integration, with support for debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Critically, every participant who signs up for a retreat or training program is automatically added to the studio’s CRM. This means studio owners can segment these participants, send targeted email and SMS sequences, and nurture them into regular class members long after the retreat or training program ends.
“Retreats and teacher training are not one-off transactions. They’re the start of a relationship,” added Ahmed. “A student who completes a retreat in Bali or finishes their 200-hour certification is one of the most engaged people in your community. Our system makes sure that relationship doesn’t end when the program does.”
Why This Matters for Independent Yoga Studios
The global yoga tourism market, which includes yoga retreats, is projected to reach $197 billion in 2026 and continue growing at a rate of 5.9% annually. Meanwhile, yoga certifications have surpassed 2.1 million globally, reflecting rising demand for structured teacher training programs
For independent studios, these represent significant revenue opportunities. Industry data suggests that studios with diversified revenue streams, including retreats and teacher training alongside regular memberships, consistently outperform single-revenue studios.
StudioGrowth’s approach differs from retreat marketplaces. Rather than replacing discovery platforms, the new features complement them. Studios can continue using marketplaces for discovery and lead generation while managing all bookings, payments, communications, and participant data within StudioGrowth.
The new retreat and teacher training features join StudioGrowth’s existing all-in-one yogha studio platform, which includes class scheduling, membership management, billing, CRM, marketing automation with newsletters and custom sequences, deep customer segmentation, custom-branded mobile apps, and enterprise-grade analytics through StudioGrowth Insights.
