SHENZHEN, China – Jan 27, 2026 – Xmake, an on-demand manufacturing services provider, today announced a partnership with RapidDirect to expand Custom Manufacturing capacity and project support for customers sourcing parts through Xmake’s online quoting workflow.
According to both companies, the partnership aims to help product teams transition from prototype to production with fewer delays caused by supplier handoffs, quoting cycles, and production scheduling.
Through the partnership, Xmake allows various production processes like CNC machining, injection molding, vacuum casting, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing services. The customers can order through a digital workflow, which may also involve manufacturability feedback and production coordination.
“Engineering teams do not just need a price. They need clear feedback, predictable execution, and a partner who can keep projects moving when requirements change,” said Ivan Ruan, CEO of Xmake. “By working with RapidDirect, Xmake can add another qualified production route and more engineering support for customers managing tight timelines.”
RapidDirect brings complementary capabilities to the partnership, provides on-demand production services, and operates a digital platform that includes quoting tools, DFM analysis, and order visibility features intended to reduce back-and-forth during procurement and execution.
“Customers measure suppliers by the number of surprises they create after the CAD file is uploaded,” said Leon Huang, CEO of RapidDirect. “This partnership is focused on practical coordination, aligning engineering review, process selection, and production follow-through so teams can spend less time chasing updates.”
Building on this approach, Xmake said the partnership will prioritize projects that require repeatable quality and consistent communication across common processes, and it is designed to give customers another option for Custom Manufacturing when they need fast iteration or a production-ready run.
As part of the broader effort to expand supply options, Xmake has built a network that includes self-operated factories and a collaborative supplier base. RapidDirect also maintains a network of manufacturing partners and in-house capabilities to support prototyping through production.
