Pacific West Academy (PWA) has announced the continuation of its Certified Executive Security Specialist (CESS) programme for 2025, aimed at individuals pursuing professional careers in executive protection training, security operations, and protective services.
The 39 day course combines classroom instruction with scenario-based exercises. Participants study risk assessment, protective formations, surveillance detection, and threat response.
According to training staff, the course is structured to reflect current realities in the protection industry, where clients range from business leaders and entertainers to political figures and international delegations. “We prepare students to manage risk in real-world situations,” a PWA instructor explained. “It’s about observation, planning, and composure under pressure.”
PWA is also known for supporting veterans and law-enforcement professionals seeking civilian career transitions. The academy’s programmes allow eligible veterans to apply educational benefits toward tuition. Many graduates have gone on to work in corporate security, private contracting, or bodyguard trainingroles across the United States and abroad.
Enrollment for the 2025 sessions is now open. More information, including programme dates and application requirements, can be found at www.pwa.edu
