SourceAudio, the music industry’s most widely adopted sync platform, today announced the launch of Mood Magic, a purpose-built music initiative designed to support and empower students with dynamic, emotionally attuned music for modern K–6 learning. Mood Magic is grounded in evidence-based research and aligned with daily K-6 routines to help all learners, including neurodivergent students, stay focused, calm, energized, and emotionally regulated in all learning environments. Mood Magic is available now on Spotify and YouTube, with more platforms coming soon.

Developed in concert with PhD educators, music therapists, and curriculum designers, Mood Magic is purpose-built to support focus, behavior, transitions, emotional regulation, and optimal moods. All tracks have been developed and fine-tuned using PhD-led research, field testing, and evidence-based composition. Whether a student needs to start their day, transition between lessons, take tests, nap, or free time, every song and playlist is aligned with specific emotional and behavioral outcomes, and all come with research citations and real-world testing to back them up.

“Mood Magic was developed from conversations and experiences with educators who saw the benefits of functional music, and field tested it with no curation,” said SourceAudio Co-Founder & CEO Andrew Harding. “Through those insights, we designed Mood Magic to provide all students with an environment optimized to enhance and support their learning experiences wherever and whenever they’re learning.”

“Mood Magic Music stands out as an innovative, research-informed tool that helps children and adults regulate, connect, and engage,” said Lindsay Mickelson Krygier, LCSW / USC Work-Peck School of Social Work. “It offers purposefully composed soundscapes designed to activate specific areas of the brain that support emotional regulation, focus, and motivation. Thoughtfully grounded in both neuroscience and artistry, this beautifully crafted resource offers a meaningful and accessible way to support well-being with intention and impact.”
