DARKCOAST PRESENTS: ‘5 TERRIFYING TWIN MOVIES TO GET INTO THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT’ IN HONOR OF ‘LET HER OUT’ NEW USA HORROR RELEASE

“LET HER OUT // DARKCOAST”
Are you seeing double?

Los Angeles, CA – September 25, 2017 – In honor of the upcoming USA of Canadian horror director, Cody Calahan’s newest film, “LET HER OUT”, TriCoast Entertainment’s horror division, DarkCoast, has researched similar films using the pop culture reference of ‘creepy twins’ that are able to make you scream for nights to come.

If you have a tendency to say “yes” when the Grady twins (“The Shining” – 1980) say, “Come play with us, Danny”, then this list is for you!

“LET HER OUT” is just the beginning of Canadian evil twin “canuxploitation” movies, but so far, here’s our list of “5 TERRIFYING TWIN MOVIES TO GET INTO THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT”:

1. “Dead Ringers” (1988)

David Cronenberg’s twins, Drs. Beverly and Elliott Mantle (Jeremy Irons) are even creepier when it’s known that he based it off real life, twin gynecologists, Stewart and Cyril Marcus during the ‘70s.

2. “Goodnight Mommy” (2014)

This German horror film shows Elias and Lukas, twins who believe their mother is an imposter as their inner darkness comes to light through intense bloodshed.

3. “Sisters” (1973)

Directed by Brian DePalma, Danielle and Dominique (Margo Kidder – Superman) are the ultimate scary-sisters. Chloe Sevigny and Stephen Rea starred in the 2006 same title remake.

4. “Let Her Out” (2016)

Alanna LeVierge stars as Helen, a bike courier who awakes in a hospital after a traumatic accident to only encounter her “vanishing twin”, or one absorbed in utero, who turns Helen’s life into a living nightmare.

5. “Basket Case” (1982)

Duane (Kevin Van Hentenryck) and Belial, the famous set of Siamese twins, seek revenge on the surgeons that separated them.
