Version 5 Tap The Anix and Das Kapital For Remixes Of Absolute Zero

Electro-Rock Duo Version 5 have remixed their song Absolute Zero along with New Mixes By The Anix and Das Kapital

USA Electro-Rock band Version 5 have released remixes of their song “Absolute Zero”.

The band has some heavyweights in Das Kapital and The Anix joining in making Mixes of the song as well. When originally writing the song the band stated “We heard stories about the Soviets launching test missions into space knowing full well that their astronauts stood no chance of returning. That freaked us out.”

When artist like South Africas Das Kapital and LA based The Anix agreed to remix the song, the results were nothing short of stellar. The Anix stated “After hearing the original mix of Version 5’s “Absolute Zero”, I imagined a thrash-garage-electro chorus to go with the huge vocal they had. I wanted to inject the song with some additional energy and create a more “live” feel to the song to clearly separate the verses from the chorus.”

Das Kapital dropped two versions of the song “Das Kapitals Break Me Down Mix” and “Das Kapitals Break Me Down Mix Radio Edit”.

Version 5 is the brainchild of Minneapolis brothers Andy & Spencer Olson. In 2018, they teamed up with their drummer buddy AJ Rowe – and for them, nothing compares to the floor shaking beats of electronic music and the raw energy of rock music.

Sonically, Version 5 (or [v5]) combine elements from the EDM/Electro-Punk world and the Rock/Industrial world to create something truly their own. This creates an infectious combination that is perfect for fans of Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, and Linkin Park. Their unique sound quickly caught the attention of multi-platinum A&R/producer Jeff Blue (Macy Gray, Linkin Park), and in 2015 they released their debut EP, co-produced by Blue.

Version 5 is planning on new music in 2019 as well as touring in the USA.

After a great 2018 sharing stages with Artist like Crazy Town, Stone Sour, Amerikan Overdose and Super Bob the future is now for this Minnesota based band.
