VehicleHistory Announces All Texas VIN Reports Will Be Free

““It’s all about finding different ways to get the same information to consumers in the most efficient way possible,” said Jennifer Mitchell, a Vehicle History spokesperson.”
The Vehicle History system will be updated to add other states in the near future if the Texas VIN list feature proves popular.

VehicleHistory.com, a company founded to help people get information about used cars, is now offering free VIN reports on all Texas vehicles, the company announced yesterday.

“We want to make it easy for people to get the history of a vehicle they may be thinking about buying in Texas,” said Jennifer Mitchell, a Vehicle History spokesperson. “While many people like using our traditional search service, some have said they’d like to look up the information on their own. We are more than happy to accommodate them.”

Traditionally, when people in Texas were looking to purchase a used vehicle, they would simply enter the VIN number of the vehicle into a search bar on the VehicleHistory.com site and get their report a few minutes later.

“Now people can simply go through the list of VIN numbers available in Texas, click on any one they are interested in, and get a preview of the information that is available,” said Mitchell. “Then if they want more information, they just have a click a button to get the complete report.”

The Vehicle History system will be updated to add other states in the near future if the Texas VIN list feature proves popular, she said.

“It’s all about finding different ways to get the same information to consumers in the most efficient way possible,” she said. “Some people are more comfortable with search engines, while others would rather do their own research. Since it is the same information we feel it is our duty, obligation and privilege to provide the hard working people of America both options.”

There will still be no charge for the basic information, said Mitchell.

“We just want to help people navigate the often intimidating world of buying a used car,” said Mitchell. “If we make life just a little easier for consumers, we feel we’ve done a good job.”
