UNLOCKED: Escape Room continues the trend of escape rooms with its debut late January 2017 with a magical twist.

Opened by friends joined together by the love of escape rooms, Hung Pham, John Nguyen, Andros Nguyen, Tony Dao, and Steve Tran spent the last year and a half building their magician-themed escape room experience from the ground up.

The group of owners have a combined experience in engineering, information technology, didactics, and one of the owners was even a working magician in the past.

UNLOCKED’s theme, “The Return of the Magician”, is the first of its kind in the Orange County industry of escape rooms. Players will be involved in a dress rehearsal for a magic show while saving a magician so that he can make his big return to the stage. In doing so, players will experience performing various magic tricks in their adventure.

Escape rooms are part of an expanding industry of live-action adventure games. Players pay to be placed in a room and given the opportunity to work together and find clues in order to get out within the time limit. Escape rooms are sweeping the nation and Orange County’s escape room industry is expanding into areas like Fullerton, Anaheim, Irvine, Orange, Lake Forest, and Mission Viejo.

UNLOCKED: Escape Room is located on 17952 Sky Park Circle, Suite 45B, several minutes from John Wayne Airport.

Tickets to the “show”/game are $30 per person at www.unlockedOC.com  and they are open every day except Wednesday.
