United States Home Inspectors Association Trusted Seal Makes Big Impression

“United States Home Inspectors Association”

The United States Home Inspectors Association has recently concluded a study on the importance of trust seals in general as well as the affect a trust seal has on a customer’s overall impression of a business that displays a USHIA.org trusted seal.

Survey’s conducted by other popular online retailers have found that customers surveyed stated that having a trust seal on a website they are considering making a purchase from is important to 71 percent of potential purchasers surveyed.

USHIA.org conducted a similar study of likely to purchase customers that were currently looking for a home inspector and the results of their study were more positive than expected. The trust seals used in the study for online retailers were based on a generic “security” type seal, whereas the USHIA.org study was on the USHIA.org Trusted seal.

Incredibly 80% of customers surveyed stated that the USHIA.org Trusted seal was important to be seen on the website of a home inspector. The explanation as to why the United States Home Inspectors Association trusted seal tested higher than the other surveys conducted was due to the seal being from a specific industry, versus generic.

The USHIA.org Trusted seal is provided free of charge to members who pass certification from the United States Home Inspectors Association.
