LONDON – 10 July, 2017 – Today is Dilemma Day. The release of the awaited debut single Dilemma, by hot and upcoming Nigerian artist Ifeanyi a.k.a. Bornstar, has finally come.
The team at newly created UK-based record label Kingstone Records is thrilled, and so is the artist himself.
“I am driven to be the best at what I do. I want to touch the heart of the world,” says the talented artist and songwriter Ifeanyi, born and raised in vibrant Nigerian music capital Lagos.
The song Dilemma, produced by UK/Jamaican Wayne Beckford and French beat maker Ren Hook, tackles difficult situations where a choice must be made between several alternatives that seem equally undesirable.
The strong and soulful musical delivery is an encouragement for those who feel betrayed and the song leaves footprints of hope, reminding us that trouble doesn’t last forever.
“Dilemma is a very inspirational song. The lyrics will speak to those that are hurt and who are losing hope and confidence in life,” says Richard Olema, radio programmer of BEAT FM.
Ifeanyi is the first artist to sign both a record and publishing deal with the record company Kingstone Records who works on an international basis with collaborators between UK, France, Scandinavia, Africa and the US.
Ifeanyi started singing in church at the very tender age of 12, continued as a live band vocalist and songwriter, and has recently contributed to international health projects with his music, including collaborations with World Health Organization
Collaborating Centre UMC, and the recording of the song Take&Tell – a project to encourage pharmacovigilance and medicines safety.
So who is this musically gifted man with the profound and moving voice? “Good question,” replies Ifeanyi. with a smile “My music will tell you more about me than I ever will.”
