Homsi, MD, FACOG, OB/GYN Physician, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly-trained and qualified OB/GYN physician with a vast expertise inall facets of his work, particularly menopause. Dr. Homsi has been practicing for over twenty-one years and is currently serving patients at his private practice, Just for Women, located in Memphis, Tennessee. The practice is affiliated with Methodist Hospital at Germantown, Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women and Baptist Memorial at Memphis. Dr. Homsi is also a Clinical Instructor at the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
Dr. Homsi attended the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon, and received his medical degree in 1986. He completed post-doctoral training and specialty training in General Obstetrics & Gynecology at the American University of Beirut and Union Memorial Hospital and Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to medical school, Dr. Homsi earned his bachelor degree of science in biology at the American University of Beirut. He is a Certified Menopause Practitioner by the North American Menopause Society and is also board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Homsi has been the Chairman of the Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women and now is the Vice president of Medical staff at Baptist memorial Hospital for women, member of surgery and quality committees for Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, member of North American Menopause Society, and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. Over the years, Dr. Homsi was honored with multiple awards, including MD Physician of the year at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women; and MD Champion at Baptist East Hospital. He credits his success to his dedication to work and his patients. In addition to English, he speaks French and Arabic. When he is not working, he enjoys jogging and soccer.
