THE BEGINNING OF A SUCCESSFUL WEEKLONG PREMIERE OF ‘AMELIA 2.0’ IN BEVERLY HILLS

“AMELIA 2.0 // TRICOAST ENTERTAINMENT”

Los Angeles, CA – August 17, 2017 – Another successful night in the spotlight.

Friday night, TriCoast Entertainment hosted the Beverly Hills premiere for the highly anticipated futuristic, female-suspense film, “AMELIA 2.0” – the first of its kind to tap into the film genre of “transhumanism”.

Inspired, written and directed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa natives got the transhumanism buzz first … but now it’s Los Angeles’ for the taking.

After suffering a debilitating brain aneurysm that leaves her in a coma she’ll never awake from, Amelia Summerland (Angela Billman) is given an experimental procedure, allowing Wesley Enterprises to download her consciousness into a fully-functioning android duplicate of her human self.

As the media informs the world of Wesley Enterprises highly advanced technology that advances human life beyond their physical and mental limitations, a whirlwind of political and religious debates take place, questioning the morals of such implications.

Meanwhile, Amelia finds her brain trapped inside an android replica of herself. With the transhumanism argument catching fire, she appears on national television facing a question she hasn’t even answered for herself – “What are you?”

Without a physical heartbeat, does she have a real soul? If she cannot feel, is she truly human?

Director Adam Orton and producers MORE Productions and WeatherVane Productions’ film left hundreds of people walking out of the Beverly Hills Music Hall that night, with only more questions than before.
