Team Launches Kill All Unicorns Project on Kickstarter

A group of artists and entrepreneurs have launched a Kill All Unicorns project on Kickstarter. This is a fanciful and artistic project designed to create edgy and satirical digital art for those who want to explore the dark humor of “unicorn killing.”

The Group have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a non-traditional project: documentation of killing unicorns.  Each piece created in this project will feature the murder of a unicorn as envisioned by a team of artists and professionally trained graphic designers who work in many media before ultimately reproducing their work in digital format.  Pierce’s Kickstarter campaign will allow buyers to purchase pre-printed art work or commission their own unique piece.

According to Pierce, “Whilst many people view unicorns as magical, we see them as a nuisance. We have teamed up with a tremendous team of hitmen to eradicate, once and for all, this vile species. Artists will be on hand to commemorate the killing as proof of the deed. Unfortunately, due to the very nature of unicorns and their inability to be captured in traditional photography, this was the only way for this to be accomplished. The purpose of this project is to take a collection of these creations and have at least one exhibit at a reputable art gallery.”

Funds collected will be used not only to create digital art that goes to the backers, but to print the favorite pieces to be used in the art exhibit. For prints chosen for this purpose, the donor will also receive a frame-ready print in addition to a digital copy.
