‘One under the Sun’, a movie that’s a layered narrative look into humanity has made its debut in the United States at San Diego’s Comic-Con in July. The sci-fi, drama, and thriller movie was written by Maya Zuckerman with the aim of revealing life in its simplest form, and exposing the cause of war within humanity.
The Bollywood superstar Pooja Batra as Kathryn Voss, an astronaut who is a sole survivor of a disastrous space mission, is played to be desperate to reunite with her terminally ill daughter, but becomes a fugitive when the government discovers she’s returned to earth with an extraordinary gift. It teaches that the Earth is a living home, shared by all of humankind, but quite unfortunately with a lot of indifference created as a result of various beliefs. This differences, cost the lives of millions of people every year with violence, including the loss of money on militaries around the world. It explains that humanity is destroyed by a lot of explorations and resources are wasted.
“It’s all about doing GOOD, for others, for ourselves, for anyone and everyone, as if it is a necessity for life,” said by the producer, Sunny Vachher.
