Ben Jacoby, who is known for his performance as Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, debuted in Beautiful on March 3 in the role of Barry Mann. Beautiful tells the story of Carole King, starting with her early days as a Brooklyn teenager known as Carol Klein. It follows her years struggling to break into the record business and her rise to fame. The current cast also includes Chilina Kennedy as Carole King, Anika Larsen as Cynthia Weil, Scott J. Campbell as Gerry Goffin, Liz Larsen as Genie Klein, and Paul Anthony Stewart as Dan Kirshner.
