New Study Warns Screen Time May Affect Eye Sight

Two years following cataract surgery, none of the eyes that obtained the yellow IOL showed signs of developing macular degeneration, while 15% of the other eyes did.

This shows that the retina of the eye, as we age, becomes more prone to oxidative damage caused by blue light exposure. If that is accurate, then it could be prudent and wise to take action to reduce premature aging of the retina by limiting the quantity of blue light exposure the eye receives throughout your life.

The most important thing to consider is blue light exposure among children.
