USA – Mr. Benjamin Knack is back – on the Hell’s Kitchen set, that is. The celebrated chef is among the elite 16 past show contestants to receive a personal invite from Chef Gordon Ramsay, to come back to the kitchen and showcase his culinary skills once more. The heated competition among the show’s all-stars, which will keep viewers at the edge of their seats throughout Hell’s Kitchen’s Season 17, will conclude with the show’s winner being crowned as a head chef at the brand-new Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant at Caesars Palace Las Vegas – along with picking up the grand prize of $250,000.
As contestants return to their old haunts, past dynamics are reignited – rivalries that run deep, and alliances that stand the test of time. However, not all things are the same, as new rifts are formed, not-so-secret pacts are made, and the competition is at an all-time high, as chefs do their best to make their most of their second chance to become one of Chef Ramsay’s handpicked staff.
Speaking of his professional experience, Mr. Knack said that “Throughout my career in culinary arts, I have commanded the operations of many high-pressure, fast-paced kitchens. I have experienced many different culinary ecologies, as an executive chef, a culinary instructor at a top-rated culinary school, and, of course, as a contestant on Chef Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen.”
He continued, “I am proud to have cultivated and developed a unique gastronomical style, which shines through every dish I prepare, either as a chef, or as a consultant – I have held an executive role at Omni La Mansion Hotel and The Mokara Hotel & Spa, while I also have a consulting history with James Beard and Esquire top-rated restaurants. I am delighted to once again showcase my skills on the Hell’s Kitchen set, and I am looking forward to connecting with the show’s audience, as well as networking with like-minded industry professionals.”
