Mango Studios photographers were wowed by the food and décor at a lavish holiday party put together by premium party planners RDT Events and hosted at the home of the owners of Mango Studios, Mo Govindjo and Nancy Da Costa.
From the moment they arrived, guests were treated to a festive look that had been well thought out, right down to the little touches. The stylish ultra-modern home, located in the King West neighbourhood, was turned into a festive wonderland that could be appreciated by anyone with tastes ranging from the classic to the contemporary.
Event decorators thought of everything, from splashy red and green arrangements and a green and gold holiday tree, right down to personalized holiday ornaments and printed menus. D&D Floral Designs created festive florals that showed off the home’s stylish interior to perfection, complemented by votive candles, tapers and gleaming glassware.
There was no ordinary bar at this party. Instead, a professional mixologist doubled as drinks provider and entertainer, as he demonstrated to guests how to make classic cocktails. These delicious beverages provided a backdrop to the chatter of the guests as they enjoyed a rare night off, while being the perfect complement to the hor d’oeuvres that were presented with simple elegance.
At dinner time, guests were treated to classic holiday fare that was given a unique modern twist by the winner of MasterChef Canada, Mary Berg. The table settings were both comfortable and stylish, accented by well-placed candles and holiday-themed decorations. Diners toasted the successes of the outgoing year with fine wines, in a setting that looked as good as the best restaurants in Toronto.
Hosts Mo and Nancy were happy to turn their home into a festive atmosphere for the party. It may have been a well-deserved night off for the twenty-five Mango Studios photographers, but there is no doubt that the guests were keen to unleash their artistry by capturing the stunning décor and the food that looked almost too good to eat.
