IndiHoops presents 8th Grade World Championship 2016

The Little League World Series of Youth Basketball

San Diego, California – August 11, 2016 – From August 11th 13th, 8th Grade teams from around the country will meet in San Diego for three unforgettable days of basketball. 8th Grade basketball represents the end of an era and a rite of passage for youth basketball players. Seeing a void in providing players with an outlet to cap off this period, Brian Hershman and John Egidio of IndiHoops present the 2016 8th Grade World Championship.

IndiHoops will kick off the weekend’s event with a PreTournament banquet dinner on Thursday evening, August 11th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mission Valley to recognize top teams from Florida, Minnesota, Washington, California, and more. On Friday, tournament play will begin at O’Farrell Charter High School and Lincoln High School in Southeast San Diego.

In 2010, they launched Top Gun Basketball. Top Gun Basketball hosted clinics, team workouts, and ran leagues, all while providing quality events for youth athletes. Now, more than 5 years later, Top Gun Basketball runs the largest basketball academy in San Diego County.

In 2013, Brian & John created IndiHoops. The goal of IndiHoops was created to help bring club basketball to life. IndiHoops is a place where basketball is united. Through Brian and John’s comprehensive national rankings, they have brought the community together to create a bigger conversation. IndiHoops is a pioneer in the club basketball media world, offering a place for basketball participants to be seen and heard. The goal of IndiHoops is to be the aggregate source for all information pertaining to club basketball. IndiHoops currently hosts the largest database of youth basketball programs, tournaments, and rosters in the country.
