1. ‘Colin Hay – Waiting For My Real Life’ (2015) – Written and directed by Aaron Faulls and Nate Gowtham

A historical, ‘80s rockumentary that journeys with renowned singer-songwriter, Colin Hay through his archived musical history as well as recent live footage. 

 

2. ‘The Brooklyn Banker’ (2016) – Directed by Federico Castelluccio

This ‘70s-set gangster/mafia drama tells the story of an honest, straight-arrowed family man who quickly succumbs to New York City’s pressures of crime and violence, leading to one outcome of corruption and ultimate downfall. 

 

3. ‘Wait Till Helen Comes’ (2016) – Directed by Dominic James

Based on Mary Downing Hahn’s best selling young adult novel and top USA school curriculum book selection, ‘Wait Till Helen Comes’ is a family ghost story about sisters, Molly and Heather, and their creepy ghost encounter when their newly reconstructed family moves into a converted country church.

 

4. ‘Let Her Out’ (2016) – Directed by Cody Calahan

An elevated, Canadian psychological thriller brought exclusively to the U.S. by DarkCoast that tells the story of an ordinary, young bike courier, Helen (Alanna LeVierge), who’s life becomes a nightmare when doctors discover her “vanishing twin” is violently attempting to escape Helen’s body.  

 

5. ‘Shadow World’ (2016) – Directed by Johan Grimonprez

Based on the bestselling book by global arms expert, Andrew Feinstein, Grimonprez’s highly acclaimed film adaption broadcasts real-life video footage of heinous acts against the innocent, war crimes and corruption through interviews from society’s elite to capture their scandalous, powerful and manipulative role in today’s media.
