EcoCrops International is pleased to announce the continued expansion of their European investment operations with the purchase of another forestry site in Estonia and has stated that they will be continuing their expansion process later on in the year with further acquisitions throughout Europe.
The continued expansion of their European Biomass Project in Estonia is due to the ever-rising demand for biomass wood pellets within the EU due to the legislation coming in at the start of 2020, whereby all EU countries have been set a target that they MUST meet for the reduction of their reliance on fossil fuels.
A spokesperson from EcoCrops has stated that the latest acquisition, called ´Kristo´, is a near perfect investment for the clients of EcoCrops International due to the quality, age and type of tree species on the site as a bulk biomass feedstock source for the production of premium quality wood pellets. The site is ideally situated due to its excellent transport links within Estonia with the National Road 22 to Tallinn (The Capital of Estonia) close by and there is a major rail junction at nearby Tapa.
The new plantation is populated with semi-mature trees whose species include Birch, Grey Elder and Spruce which are ideal for the production of wood pellets due to their high calorific content.
EcoCrops International offers private investors the chance to own their own forestry investment, managed by EcoCrops, from as little as €8,000 with an investment term of 3 to 5 years.
