D.O.P.E. PARTNERS WITH FATHOM TO HOST COMMUNITY DAY IN PHILADELPHIA.

August 7th, 2018 – Womrath, PA – The world always needs more help and that is why D.O.P.E.(Doing Our Part Eclectically), is partnering with FATHOM (Fresh minds in Action To Help Others Move forward), to host an epic Community Day for the people and community of Philadelphia. The event will hold on the 11th of August 2018, from 12:00pm-5:00pm.

D.O.P.E. is popular for serving the homeless in Philadelphia community all year round — and would want to do more to bring the community together using this event. Nina Davis once said this about the organization, “I feel this is a good way to show people that have fallen on hard times that they are not forgotten.” The FATHOM has been dedicated to helping people move forward with their lives, even with their troubles. Therefore, the D.O.P.E.-FATHOM collaboration hopes to inspire relationships with other foundations and places of worship to create an epic Community Day filled with resources and supplies for under privileged people living in the Philadelphia community.

The Community Day is open for attendance to all members of the Media and community in Philadelphia. The Community Day will include provision of resources by donators, free food, school supplies, clothing, free haircuts, moon bouncers, entertainment, and performances by Anton Milton, Tia Rudd, Fuj, Chosen Elect, Tyree Miller, BriDai and many more. Some of the current sponsors of the event are Target, Walmart, Home Depot and a few others. However, volunteering (barbers inclusive), donations and sponsorships are still welcomed.

“D.O.P.E. is on a mission to strengthen our local communities through social, economic, education & health services, leadership development & advocacy and this Community Day will bring about another fulfilment of our mission.” Jai Crabbe, Director of D.O.P.E. said about the event.

Tickets for the Community Day can be purchased on Eventbrite’s website. For more enquiries on how to be a volunteer, to sponsor or donate towards the Community Day, please visit DOPE’s Facebook page or call the organization’s Director on (267)281-4931.
