Dirty Freedom Adventures announces Kiliclimb 2018: Destination Transformation, an All-Women\’s Trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa

Dirty Freedom Adventures has announced the launch of “Kiliclimb 2018:  Destination Transformation” from September 21st to October 3rd, 2018. The 8 plus day trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro is aimed to provide 15 women with an experience of self-discovery, life transformation, and rejuvenation. Co-hosts Stephanie Mtui and Jacquelyn Tierney designed this special trek for women who seek a much-needed break from their regular routine and wish to explore the beauty of nature while unleashing their inner adventurer through a thrilling and soul-satisfying travel experience.

What makes this trip different from other treks to Mt. Kilimanjaro is the teaching and application of wellness tools, sacred art practices, and creative exercises that boost spiritual transformation. The trip is organized by Stephanie Mtui aka “Badger,” a shareholder of Dirty freedom Adventures, her professional guide husband and owner of Dirty Freedom Adventures Larick Mtui aka “RG3,” along with photographer and teacher Jacquelyn Tierney.

Badger conquered Mt. Kilimanjaro in September 2016, taking a much-needed respite from her job as a busy Seattle litigator Seattle. She loved her job, but a few decades of continuous hard work had left her mentally and physically exhausted, ready for adventure. Her life safari began to take a turn in April 2016, when she received an email asking for women to apply to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with Heather Thomson of the Real Housewives of New York. Badger immediately applied for the trip and went on to prove that women of all ages, sizes, and shapes can conquer any challenge with hard work and perseverance.

After she reached Uhuru Peak at 19,341′ in September 2016, she paired up with her Chief Guide Larick Mtui, a Kilimanjaro native and mountain climbing expert. They became friends, married, and founded Dirty Freedom Adventures to share the Kilimanjaro experience and “dirty freedom” with others.

Apart from Kilimanjaro climbing, Dirty Freedom Adventures also provides treks of Mt. Meru and safaris to the Serengeti, Tarangire, Manyara, and Ngorongoro National Parks. Upon request, they can also assist with adding a trip to Zanzibar in the package, where well-deserving adventures can enjoy white sands, crystal blue water, and water sports, such as kite boarding. By air, Zanzibar is only one hour from Kilimanjaro International Airport and about 20 minutes from Julius Nyerere Airport in Dar es Salaam.
