He also trained in a fellowship for Mohs Micrographic Surgery, as well as Cosmetic Surgery at Ichan Scool of Medicine at Mount Sinai New York.
Dr. Amir is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology as well as by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine. He is also certified by The International Borad of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Cosmetic surgery and Body contouring surgery. He maintains active memberships with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, International Society of Cosmeto-Gynecology, The American Society of Liposuction Surgery, and American Academy of Anti-aging And Regenerative Medicine.
As a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Amir continues to strive to uphold the highest standards of practice in his field.
He is the recipient of the various medals and awards during Medical School, and was a role of honor student in his medical school. He was named as the most Outstanding Resident in Internal Medicine in 1994 at Mount Sinai, and also received Outstanding Research Project Award in 2007 by College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
He credits his success to always putting his patients first, being dedicated and passionate, and constantly learning and updating the skills. His hobbies include traveling, fitness, swimming, and playing golf.
