A team of out of the box thinkers, developers and engineers have joined forces to develop a solution for an everyday problem that most drivers face in the form of a innovate app named Driveway. Driveway is an app that lets drivers connect up to local homeowners to get permission to block driveway, park in their driveway/garage or any other private parking. This app will have the function to pre-book parking. The Driveway project is currently in need of funding to cover the app development, marketing and various other expenses, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched on Crowdfunder with a funding goal of at least £7,000 to be raised before 28th March 2016.
Mohamed, head of the Driveway crowdfunding campaign explained: “I was driving to old Trafford to watch a football match when I arrived at the stadium; there was no parking in sight. the match was about to kick off and I saw what seemed to be a free parking space but turned out later on to be a driveway. The homeowner was sat in their front garden, I asked if they were willing to receive a small amount of money in return to get permission to block their driveway. They accepted my offer happily, that is what gave us the idea of creating an app that lets drivers connect up to local homeowners to get permission to block driveway, park in their driveway/garage or any other private parking.”
The prime objective of the crowdfunding campaign is to raise enough money to develop a easy to use app backed by reliable data serves to ensure that the entire system performs seamlessly.
The ongoing Crowdfunder with a £7,000 funding goal has seen some progress since its launch. However the team behind the campaign would like to continue building momentum, they looking towards the generosity of the online crowd. The funds raised through the current crowdfunding campaign will be allocated to the development of an easy to use app. A variety of different rewards and perks are also being offered to prize the generosity of those who support the campaign through their monetary contributions. The Driveway team is ready to take on any challenges that might occur.
