Creative Animodel recently announced its plans to expand lab services to include in vivo toxicology for drug screenings, confirmations and secondary analysis along with its various techniques to identify candidate drugs.
In vivo toxicology is the study about toxic effects of chemical and biological compounds based on quantitative and statistical analysis.
Creative Animodel says the expansion not only will bring a needed service to the region, but also will provide acute, sub-chronic and chronic toxicity assays more timely and precise results.
According to official reports, the current all drug testing confirmation in New York is outsourced to vendors in several states and it is estimate that over one hundred of million dollars in health sector is exported. To change it, the company supposes to establish new laboratories so that those health care dollars will stay in the state.
The new toxicology lab was developed in collaboration with University based on previous technology transfer cooperation. The University shows strong supportive attitude towards Creative Animodel’s plan.
“As a world leading provider that is good at addressing bioscience CRO problems, we would like to help clients accelerate the process through our preclinical services including PD, PK, toxicology services and the establishment of tumor-bearing animal models, the supply of tumor cell lines and tissues, and the support of tumor related biotechniques.” said Jenney, director of R&D department, in the release. “As a commitment to this, we are training our lab technicians to specifically use highly complex instrumentation which lead to more coordinated and timely results.”
As the expands launches, Creative Animodel is able to offer a more comprehensive report summary for toxicity, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, urinalysis, chemistry, and histopathology results.
