1. Scarface (1983)

One of Al Pacino’s best features on film, conveying the Miami drug scene during the 1980s. This mafia film is home to the famous saying, “Say hello to my little friend!”

2. Goodfellas (1990)

Directed by Martin Scorsese, this crime classic highlights the life of Henry Hill, a world famous gangster.

3. Pulp Fiction (1994)

It’s no surprise that director, Quentin Tarantino, could make an excellent, exhilarating film focusing on crime, action, drugs and violence.

4. Donnie Brasco (1997)

Hollywood actors, Al Pacino and Johnny Depp, truly bring to light the emotional conflict that arises within while living a life of sin and crime.

5. American Gangster (2007)

Now, this is a true American gangster film, especially if you’re a fan of a shady Denzel Washington.

6. The Untouchables (1987)

This quote pretty much sums up the film – “You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue.”

7. The Departed (2006)

This recent Martin Scorsese crime focuses on the Irish mobster, Frank Costello (played by Jack Nicholson), a mole in the police (Matt Damon), and undercover cop in the mafia (Leonardo DiCaprio). 

8. Mean Streets (1973)

Two aspiring mobsters (Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel) are scraping to get by, as they decide whether or not they should continue their involvement with the dangers of Little Italy.

9. Public Enemies (2009)

Johnny Depp and Christian Bale’s roles focus on the legend of John Dillinger, the famous American gangster during the Depression-era.

10. The Brooklyn Banker (2016)

Local banker, Santo Bastucci battles a life of crime and drama with Manny “The Hand” Misteria.
