He also trained with some of the best vitreoretinal surgeons in the country and became Chief Resident and Director of the Ocular trauma service at Bascom Palmer. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of retina specialists. He is credentialed at the Manatee memorial Hospital.
