HIALEAH, Fla. –<\/strong> VMFS USA<\/a>, a Cuban-owned vending machine company, announced today a sponsorship of Isabella Abreu, a Cuban racing driver competing in karting and Formula 4, providing her with financial backing and branded product support for her racing career.<\/p>\n

Abreu, born in Holguín, Cuba, in 2004, began racing karts as a teenager after her family emigrated to Europe. She later trained on circuits in Florida’s Homestead area before making her debut in the French Formula 4 Championship in 2026. She is recognized as one of the first Cuban-born women to compete in international motorsport.<\/p>\n

“This partnership is about more than racing. It’s about creating opportunities and showing that big dreams can become reality,” said Abreu. “Thanks to VMFS USA, I’ll be fueling my racing career and continuing to proudly represent our community on and off the track.”<\/p>\n

Abreu’s profile has extended beyond racing results. In 2021, during a practice session at Homestead, she wore a helmet marked with the hashtag #SOSCuba, drawing attention to that year’s protests in Cuba. She has also appeared on the Univision program El Gordo y la Flaca to discuss her career.<\/p>\n

A VMFS USA spokesperson said the company’s ownership shaped its decision to back Abreu.<\/p>\n

The sponsorship coincides with a VMFS USA campaign encouraging entrepreneurship through vending machine ownership, offering supporters a path to start their own business while following Abreu’s career.<\/p>\n
