Rancho Cucamonga residents are increasingly asking whether roads and infrastructure are keeping pace with the city’s continued growth and development.<\/div>\n

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA –<\/strong> As Rancho Cucamonga continues to grow, many residents are raising concerns about traffic congestion and whether infrastructure improvements are keeping pace with development throughout the city.<\/p>\n

One intersection frequently mentioned by residents is Foothill Boulevard and Milliken Avenue, where traffic congestion during peak commute hours has become a familiar sight for many drivers.<\/p>\n

According to Rancho Cucamonga City Council candidate David VanGorden, the discussion is not about opposing growth, but ensuring that growth is planned alongside the infrastructure needed to support it.<\/p>\n

“Residents understand that cities evolve and grow,” said VanGorden. “The question many people are asking is whether our roads, public safety resources, and infrastructure are keeping pace with that growth. These are reasonable questions that deserve thoughtful discussion.”<\/p>\n

As new residential and commercial projects continue to move forward throughout Rancho Cucamonga, concerns about traffic circulation, commute times, and the long-term capacity of local infrastructure have become increasingly common topics among residents.<\/p>\n

“Growth without infrastructure is not progress,” VanGorden said. “If we want to maintain the quality of life that attracted many families to Rancho Cucamonga, we need to ensure that roads, services, and long-term planning remain part of every growth discussion.”<\/p>\n

Residents have expressed concerns about congestion along several major corridors, including Foothill Boulevard, where traffic volumes can increase significantly during morning and evening commute periods.<\/p>\n
