Community advocate and nationally recognized “Angel Mom” Agnes Gibboney<\/strong> has endorsed David VanGorden<\/strong> in his campaign for Rancho Cucamonga City Council, District 2.<\/p>\n

Gibboney, President of the Rancho Cucamonga chapter of the <\/a>California Republican Assembly (CRA<\/a>), announced her support following VanGorden’s recent appearance at a CRA meeting where he formally announced his candidacy and spoke about issues facing Rancho Cucamonga residents, including development, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and transparency in city government.<\/p>\n

Agnes Gibboney has become widely known as an “Angel Mom,”<\/strong> a term used to describe mothers whose children were tragically killed by individuals who were in the United States illegally. Gibboney’s son, Ronald da Silva<\/strong>, was murdered by an illegal immigrant, a tragedy that led her to become an outspoken advocate for public safety, immigration enforcement, and support for victims of violent crime. Since then, she has appeared on numerous national television and radio programs and has met with political leaders across the country while speaking about the importance of protecting communities and supporting law enforcement.<\/p>\n

Gibboney said she believes VanGorden brings the experience, integrity, and commitment needed to represent residents of Rancho Cucamonga.<\/p>\n
