Filmed entirely on location in Bohol, the movie highlights Filipino culture, provincial life, and the controversial world of sabong (cockfighting), delivering a gritty yet heartfelt story of family, survival, and resilience.<\/p>\n

Written and directed by Tim Fitzharris and produced by Jesse Fitzharris under Blue Island Films, Feather Wars features an all Filipino cast and crew, many based in Bohol.<\/p>\n

The film follows two aspiring teen musicians fleeing their unstable stepfather across the Philippine countryside in a battered tricycle. Along the way, they enter underground cockfighting arenas using clever scams to fund their escape while wrestling with moral dilemmas and sibling rivalry. Blending dark comedy, music and adventure, the film offers both local authenticity and international appeal.<\/p>\n
