Change Mate is a new product to assist those who need to change privately, but may not have access to a changing room.  For use at the beach, pool, gym, dance studio, or anywhere you may have a need to change with privacy.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Being a long distance from a changing room, having a need for privacy to try on a cute top at an outdoor market, or feeling uncomfortable allowing your children to change in public changing rooms, the Change Mate is perfect for a convenient, <\/span>portable way to change clothes<\/span><\/a> while maintaining privacy.      <\/span><\/p>\n

The Change Mate begins as a comfy little pillow.  Next, when changing is needed, simply open the pillow, remove the Change Mate, tighten the toggles at the waist, and create a secure wrap around.  Complete with open pockets, changing bottoms or tops becomes a breeze.  Finally, unzip the front and open out to use as a beach towel.  When finished, tighten the toggles at one end, place items or gear inside, and tighten toggles at the other end.  Clip the shoulder strap on and now you have a perfect duffle back that allows the user to collect clothing items to be worn in one convenient place.<\/span><\/p>\n

This idea was born out of necessity in 2013.  During a beach trip, carrying a “load” of items with their families and watching others do the “towel dance” while changing, the inventors of Change Mate came up with an idea:  to create the perfect “gizmo” that would make life easier. Originally called the Beach Gizmo, the inventors held a focus group in 2013 that decided on the name Change Mate.  Shortly after, production began.  In 2015, the Change Mate started to get publicity on television during a summer tour and additional changes were made after the team gathered constructive feedback that allowed them to design the perfect accessory.<\/span><\/p>\n
