Through a distribution partnership between Anchored Lens Productions and Filmhub, a global sales and distribution company specializing in film, television, and creator-led content, the boundary-pushing feature film The Grove—a genre-bending fusion of psychological thriller, drama, and sci-fi horror—is set to captivate new audiences as it debuts on Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and Amazon Prime Video.

Written and directed by Acoryé White and Patrycja Kepa, The Grove has been praised by critics for its bold cinematic experimentation and powerful performances by its lead stars Acoryé White (Under the Stadium Lights) and Carl Anthony Payne II (Martin).

Described by Film Threat as “a haunting exploration of morality and reality that keeps audiences on edge,” and by OneFilmFan as “a daring blend of horror, drama, and sci-fi with both indie grit and mainstream flair,” The Grove defies easy categorization. It follows a group of strangers drawn to a mysterious forest, where the boundaries between life, death, and illusion blur in a chilling confrontation with fate itself.

“The Grove isn’t just a thriller—it’s an experience that challenges what we believe is real,” says director Acoryé White and Patrycja Kepa. “It’s about human connection, redemption, and what happens when we’re forced to face the darkness within ourselves. Without having a studio-level budget we focus on quality and talent so that viewers feel immersed in the world that we created.”

At the film’s emotional center are Haley Sims(Megalopolis), delivering a deeply sinister but transformative performance, Carl Anthony Payne II, Psalms (P-Valley), and Graham Edmonds (S.W.A.T.), who all deliver strong and memorable performances, along with Acoryé White, whose portrayal of a man haunted by guilt and moral reckoning has earned wide critical praise. Their on-screen dynamic anchors the film’s surreal twists in raw human emotion. The remaining supporting cast deliver grounded performances, Anuschka van Lent (Natty Knocks), Alestair Shu (Netflix’s Kinda Pregnant), Jesus Venegas (Hard Miles), Jolena Wu (Ka$h Grab), Ethan Melisano (Netflix’s The Devil All the Time), and Lucky Johnson (2 Guns).

Visually striking and thematically daring, The Grove merges elements of psychological suspense, supernatural mystery, and science fiction allegory into a cohesive, thought-provoking narrative. The film has been lauded for its genre-bending storytelling, metaphysical tension, and cinematic craftsmanship that recalls the works of Jordan Peele and M. Night Shyamalan, while maintaining a distinct indie spirit.

“When the credits roll, we want the audience to question what they’ve just seen and have curiosities of what’s to come next—and what it says about us as up-and-coming filmmakers.” White and Kepa add.

The Grove is produced by Anchored Lens Productions and executive produced by Patrycja Kepa, Acoryé White, David A. Walton, Charles Bridwell, Daryl Harris, Tru’Kessa Scott, and Nelson Barnes Jr., directed and written by Acoryé White and Patrycja Kepa, and stars Carl Anthony Payne II, Acoryé White, Psalms, Haley Sims, and Guxci., The film is will be available to stream on Video On Demand November 21st, 2025 on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
