Titled “<\/strong>Aeon ::: THX-2018,<\/strong>”<\/strong> the track is the sixth installment of his ambitious Full Moon<\/em> series — an ongoing musical and visual journey releasing one single each full moon.<\/p>\n

Driven by an uncompromising creative vision, Neokosmos is the vessel through which Aeon fuses his artistic disciplines into a singular, cosmic narrative. Founded in 2010, Neokosmos has evolved into a fully independent and intricately crafted project, meticulously developed over 15 years. It encompasses music, visual art, and immersive live performances, all powered by Aeon’s relentless DIY spirit.<\/p>\n

A Sonic Sanctuary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Written during a time of deep personal struggle, “Aeon ::: THX-2018<\/strong>” emerges as a sonic refuge — a cathartic piece grounded in emotional intensity and atmospheric depth. As with all Neokosmos solo electronic releases, the track is entirely produced, recorded, and mixed by Aeon in his Montréal-based studio. It showcases his signature sound: cinematic, melodic, and genre-defying.<\/p>\n

Drawing from an eclectic range of influences — techno, IDM, ambient, industrial, trance, and synthwave — Aeon delivers a sound that is bold and otherworldly.<\/p>\n

A Visual Epic Beneath the Full Moon<\/strong><\/p>\n

The release is accompanied by a breathtaking music video, filmed in the dead of the Québec winter. Braving frigid temperatures and treacherous terrain, Aeon and his team transported towering, custom-built décor pieces — dubbed “pylons<\/strong>” and standing 11 feet tall—into the snow-covered wilderness using sleds. The video, directed by Aeon with the help of videographer Pascal Thibault, marks the first appearance of the Moon itself in the Full Moon<\/em> series, further binding the visual narrative to the music’s ethereal roots.<\/p>\n

“THX-2018 was incredibly difficult to bring to life,” said Aeon. “But it had to happen. The snow, the cold, the Moon — they were all part of the story. We needed to capture that sense of isolation, and of finding light in the middle of darkness.”<\/p>\n

More Than Music<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Neokosmos is first and foremost a music project, it stands apart through its multi-sensory ambition. The initiative includes two formats: a solo electronic performance with Aeon on keys and electronic percussion, and a full-band incarnation set to debut in 2025 or 2026, where Aeon will also sing and play guitar.<\/p>\n

Beyond the music and videos, Neokosmos is designed for the stage. The project debuted its first work-in-progress live show in December 2023, featuring synchronized light and video programming, immersive staging, and custom-built decor. The next full-scale live performance is slated for Q3 2025 in Montréal, promising a richer, more polished rendition of Aeon’s evolving vision.<\/p>\n
