mender<\/a>, an IT asset disposition (ITAD) company that extends the life of IT assets through recycling and resale, has announced a donation to the Gulf Trust’s Trash Free Gulf campaign.”<\/a> As a leading supporter of regional wildlife and conservation efforts, the donations honor mender’s pledge to commit five percent of its profits to land and wildlife conservation efforts in Texas and across the region.<\/p>\n

The project, which is an initiative from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, is devoted to cleaning up waterways feeding the gulf and reducing single-use containers that ultimately pollute these waterways. Mender is among several high-profile primary contributors to this program, including H-E-B’s Our Texas, Our Future, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, Keep Texas Beautiful,and YETI. In addition to a monetary donation, mender employees will participate in a cleanup event at White Rock Lake on May 17. The company will also attend future Trash Free Gulf cleanup events, which Kent Taggart, mender’s co-founder and CEO, says will help to solidly connect team members to the company’s environmental mission.<\/p>\n
