The GiveBack Tour is Derrin\u2019s way of reaching out to the kids in Charlotte by reading his books, singing his songs, and teaching them how to make bow ties<\/div>\n

Derrin Gleaton is excited to share that his GiveBack Tour is going as planned, with unexpected impact and milestones recorded so far. The children’s book author embarked on the Tour to give back to the community where he has lived all these years. He is using the opportunity to visit and read to students in different schools and PreKs in Charlotte.<\/p>\n

This year, he has read in several schools in the neighborhood and spent a few reading days at the Archive and Park Road Books. At each reading, Derrin looks forward to spreading joy, having fun, reading his books, dancing with the kids, and simply having a good time with them.<\/p>\n

Derrin is an award-winning author of four children’s books, including You Can Be Fly, Let’s Stick Together, Just Bee Yourself, and a recently released Stuck in Her Shell. All of these books can be gotten at local book stores like The Park Road Book Store and The Paper Skyscraper. Derrin’s books can also be found on all major online platforms, like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Barnes and Noble, and more.<\/p>\n
