Chicago, IL – September 30, 2024 – <\/strong>Maurice Gunn, founder of the Black Faith Network (BFN), is on a mission to challenge the negative content saturating mainstream media by creating an uplifting platform for the African American community. While networks like Zeus, BET, YouTube, Netflix, and Tubi often showcase content glorifying violence, drug use, and promiscuity, Gunn’s vision is to offer a faith-based alternative that inspires and empowers.<\/p>\n

The Black Faith Network is designed as a safe space for positive, faith-driven content that redefines how Black stories are told in movies, music, and media. Gunn’s goal is to move away from harmful stereotypes, replacing them with stories of hope, resilience, and love that reflect the true potential of African American families.<\/p>\n

A Personal Mission to Save Lives<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gunn’s passion for this project stems from his experiences growing up in Chicago, where he witnessed firsthand the influence of negative media on his peers.
