\"\"Kevyn LeShane is a black poet, spoken word artist, and writer from New Jersey. He first began gaining notoriety as a writer after the success of “Open Mic Night: Campus Programs That Champion College Student Voice and Engagement”. He was awarded an “Outstanding Book Award” from the AERA for my contributions to the collaborative book. In 2018, he published his first of two acclaimed chapbooks “Is It Wonderful. That same year he released his second chapbook “Sunflower BLVD”. In 2020, he released his first fulll-length anthology “Our Chemically Altered Romance,” to critical acclaim. In October of 2021, he released his second fulll-length anthology “Discontinued: A Short Film” to rave reviews. The first book in this duology, Skyscrapers: Vol: 1, was released in February 2023.
