Tickets Now Available for the Highly Anticipated Event, April 16-28, 2024<\/div>\n

Queens, NY – March 7, 2024 –<\/strong> The highly anticipated 13th annual Queens World Film Festival<\/a> (QWFF) is just around the corner, and tickets are now available for purchase! The festival, taking place from April 16-28, 2024, promises to bring an exciting lineup of 152 films from 19 nations to the heart of Queens at The Museum of the Moving Image and Kaufman Astoria Studios.<\/p>\n

Festival co-founders, Executive Director Katha Cato and Artistic Director Donald Preston Cato, are thrilled to present a diverse and thought-provoking program that truly represents the innovative spirit of Queens and the world. With 47 thematic blocks, the festival showcases a wide range of genres and stories, addressing themes such as survival, empowerment, conflict, immigration, and the environment.<\/p>\n

The festival will kick off with Welcoming Night, a live broadcast from Sac’s Place on April 16, connecting with filmmakers from around the globe who are unable to attend in person. The following day, the Opening Night Screening at the Museum of the Moving Image will feature a special tribute to the 2024 Spirit of Queens Honoree, Yance Ford, and a selection of films that refuse to back down.<\/p>\n
