Vijay Akuthota, a tabletop game developer, has announced a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to support the release of POOPL. An exciting tabletop card game<\/a>, POOPL pokes fun at uncomfortable and often embarrassing situations that unfold in human life with lighthearted and witty one-liners. <\/p>\n

Developed to make people have a great time together with adults-only humor, POOPL is the first in a series of planned party games<\/a> for different ages. POOPL challenges people to counter nonsensical (read crappy) but relatable moments in everyday life with witty one-liners in competition with others. Players simply draw 10 cards from over 440 pre-made responses and wait for a rotating judge to select a situation from a second deck. Players must then select their best response card for the given situation and wait for the judge to choose the best response and award a point to the winner. The player who amasses the most points wins. <\/p>\n

Real-life experiences and language use in social media have inspired the content for Situation cards and one-liner Response cards, and the cards promise to provide endless ways to bring out all shades of humor (including, sometimes, dark & dank!) based on each player’s wit and imagination. Each playing card is printed on high-quality gloss laminated paper (like in traditional playing cards), and the complete card deck comes with a rulebook that quickly explains the mechanics of POOPL. <\/p>\n
