MINNEAPOLIS, MN – May 5, 2023 –<\/strong> BossLady Shoetique, the first Black-owned, woman-owned shoe store to open in Northtown Mall, will host an Elegant Point Fashion Show for its one year anniversary.<\/p>\n

Brittney Kline, Owner and CEO of BossLady Shoetique, aims to continue to build the esteem of women. Providing high-quality, affordable women’s footwear, hats, sunglasses, and accessories, that make the everyday woman feel like the Bosses they are.<\/p>\n

Last year, BossLady Shoetique made history as the first black owned shoe store to open in a predominately white mall in a northern suburb of Minneapolis. BossLady Shoetique offers excellent quality, stylish, affordable footwear and accessories for professionals, fashionistas, moms, married or single women, ages 21–55. Brittney feels women are often neglected of superiority, especially women of color.<\/p>\n

The term “Bosslady” is often associated with a woman who is in a powerful position at work. Brittney has been changing that narrative since 2019. “As a woman, we wear so many hats. We are mothers, homemakers, business owners, professionals, wives, etc. Women are the true definition of what the dictionary defines as a Boss. I want women to know they are Bosses. I want women to feel good about themselves, at an affordable price, while walking like the Boss they are!” says Brittney.<\/p>\n

In celebrating their first year in Business at Northtown Mall, BossLady Shoetique will debut a unique fashion event, inside of Northtown Mall. The event themed around “A Red Carpet, Hollywood, Elegant experience,” will showcase some high fashion looks from local designers.<\/p>\n

BossLady Shoetique will not only showcase the talent of local designers, this event will share their runway to spotlight local models. This event curated partners that share the same goal of creating platforms to celebrate the expertise of local talent. Brittney Kline have always had a passion for fashion, as well as helping women look and feel their best. Opening this business was a unique way of combining her aspirations. While successfully operating her web-based business, she has desired to open a physical location since starting the business in 2019.<\/p>\n
