Despite her science background and graduation in Process Engineering, Jamila has always loved reading and writing. In 2001, she was one of the laureates of the Short Film Screenwriting Residency Competition organized in Morocco by the Department of Cooperation and Cultural Action. She has also participated in scriptwriting workshops organized by the French Institute of Marrakech and in Tunisia for a cartoon series as part of a Euromédiatoon project.<\/p>\n
