My name is Maria De Los Angelos Awdi; I’m known as Maria D. Awdi. I’m an American-Lebanese entrepreneur residing in Bucharest, Romania. I left for the US when I was 16 years old, where I graduated from Wayne State University’s (Detroit, Michigan) school of art and communication in 2011.  <\/p>\n

2) Was being a fashion and beauty blogger a dream or a career you sought?<\/p>\n

Indeed, my passion and love for photography have played a very intrinsic role in the position I behold today. I have always been excited about taking everyday photos and sharing them with my followers from all over the world who were interested in my content, as well as many local and foreign brands. When I saw this huge and interesting interaction, I was actually fascinated, so I decided to continue and develop my content.  <\/p>\n

3) What’s the most rewarding thing about being an influencer?<\/p>\n

The most rewarding thing is the relationships (and even friendships) you build through blogging. I have such an amazing connection with my followers and feel like they just get me, and I get them! I have made some amazing friends and have found “my people” through being online. <\/p>\n

4) Would you please tell us more about your brand, MDLA?<\/p>\n

MDLA is located in the heart of downtown Bucharest. The brand will be selling and launching two collections. One will be for virtual outfits for those who are willing to wear them on social media and\/or in the metaverse; they can buy them directly from Instagram and other websites that deal with virtual fashion around the world. The second collection will be physical, and it will target ladies of all ages. Ladies who are trend lovers, trendsetters, influencers on social media, and who are interested in a new brand of fashion founded by a woman<\/p>\n

5) Do you have any advice for those wanting to start their own blog?<\/p>\n

If you are starting your own blog, the best advice I can give is to just be yourself. Your people will find you and love you for that! Don’t try to be anything you aren’t, and be proud of who you are!<\/p>\n
