São Paulo, Brazil – 22nd<\/sup> June, 2022 – <\/strong>LightDefi, the biggest crypto-environmental project in Latin  America, has just announced one of the most awaited news since  the announcement of its roadmap, in the first half of 2021. Now,  the land acquired in the rural area of São Gonçalo do Amarante  state of Ceará, in an area bordering the municipality of São Luís  do Curu, had its public deed drawn up and registered at the  notary’s office. <\/p>\n

The first photovoltaic power plant of the Light project will be  built in the registered area. The undertaking will have an output of 2.5 megawatts and will generate 5.5 million kWh\/year, enough  energy to supply more than 2,500 homes. The project also has the  goal of expanding production to 200 megawatts.  <\/p>\n

After the expansion, the plant will produce enough clean energy  to supply more than 200,000 homes. The initiative will rid the  atmosphere of more than 25,000 tons of CO\u2082 emissions per year. <\/p>\n

Brillacom will allocate 30% of the net profit, generated by the  plant, to purchase Light DeFi tokens that will be distributed  among holders as cashback and 50% will be earmarked for the  construction of new plants. <\/p>\n

In addition to the physical document, the deed was registered on  the blockchain BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain).  According to the project developers, this would be the world’s first  blockchain registration of a deed to a plot of land for photovoltaic  power generation. <\/p>\n

Interestingly, when analyzing the original deed documentation  forwarded to the press, we can find the hash of the non-fungible  token created for registration.  <\/p>\n

The Light DeFi token is available on the BNB Chain, Ethereum,  and KCC networks.  <\/p>\n
