<\/p>\nWe got a chance to check out the new doggy daycare business in Saylorsburg, The Pawty Shack. Owned and operated by Melissa Adamides, fully licensed and insured, located in the Poconos, Saylorsburg, PA. Melissa is only in the early stages of expanding and building areas for the dogs to run, a daycare facility for the needs of working pet owners, and adding more suites to accomodate the demand of dog boarding. The business plans to add a cattery in the near future!<\/p>\n
The Pawty Shack is brightly painted and very modern – with the pets needs in mind. Situated on 9 acres of manicured property, with the business attached to her home. The business offers eight cage free suites, large enough to accomodate 3 small dogs or 2 large dogs, outdoor runs attached with access through a doggie door. The staff at Pawty Shack keeps the day lively for active pets including playtime, multiple walks, and one on one attention is included with every stay. Each suite is also equiped with a Ring internet-enabled camera that clients can access to keep an eye on their pet while you’re at work or on vacation.<\/p>\n
As a new business owner, Adamides worked as a veterinarians assistant for 7 years, and is certified in pet nutrition. She has trained and shown dogs for many years. Pets and animals of all sizes has been a passion for her since she was young. Opening The Pawty Shack is something she has been planning and researching for many years. Her goal is to provide a safe and loving place for all pets, of all sizes, to go when their owners can not bring them along or simply just need a day for them to be cared for while their away.<\/p>\n
